Custom Page 2 Message Light Off #*53E

Important: All other VoiceTrak parameters must be set to Default.

Use Tone/Cadence file: PARTIIR3.ATT

Special Legend Code: The VOICE.BAT file must include the lines

SET PBXTYPE=ATLEG

SET IBSPARM=12-1

Notes:

Tone/Cadence Files - All calls are unsupervised and disconnect is via loop current drop, so the tone & filter file is not as critical as with certain phone systems.

General

Features include:

Software Version

All Legend systems should work. This integration developed using Version 2.0 software.

Disconnect Tone

The Legend software provides a loop current drop. It is not necessary for system users to 'pound out' to clear the line. Callers or internal system users can simply hang up the phone and VoiceTrak will clear the port immediately.

Types of calls

Call Forwarding

Do not forward a phone to VoiceTrak. Use call coverage.

Programming the Legend

We highly recommend that a hard copy of the system program be created and saved before programming.

Set as Hybrid / PBX

System should be set to Hybrid / PBX for voice mail to operate properly. If not, consult Legend documentation for the consequences of changing the setting.

Set VM/AA options on Legend

Establish a VoiceTrak Calling Group (Hunt Group)

Use the system programming menu.

Configure VoiceTrak Group Type

Use the system programming menu.

Make VoiceTrak the Call Coverage target

Use the system programming menu.

Program the Group Coverage Delay Interval

Configure trunks to ring directly to VoiceTrak

Establish a Call Coverage group for extending calls to VoiceTrak

Note - the Return Ring range is 1 to 15 rings and the default is 4 rings before the call is transferred to the operator. The Return Ring setting MUST be longer than the Voice Mail Recall Transfer Timer or the system won't work properly.
